Love and Social Life

The year ahead – especially the latter part of the year – is going to be a great love year. Benevolent Jupiter will enter your 7th house on May 11. He will be there until October 29 and then return on December 21, spending approximately half the year in your 7th house of love.

So, singles are likely to marry or be involved in a relationship that is ‘like’ a marriage. This is especially so for those working on the first marriage. In general your social circle will expand. You will be meeting new and significant people. You will meet interesting people in your neighbourhood – people who were always there, but you’ve never met. There will be more socializing with neighbours, siblings and sibling figures.

Generically Jupiter rules foreigners, religious people and academics. You find these people alluring now. You like people you can learn from. We see this in other ways too. Mars, your love planet, will spend a lot of time (over four months) in your 9th house, reinforcing what we say here.

You have the aspects this year of someone who falls in love with their professor, minister, priest or imam – your worship leader or teacher. Love opportunities could happen in foreign lands or at religious or educational functions. People at school or in your place of worship can play Cupid. Siblings, sibling figures and neighbours could also play Cupid.

The physical aspects of love are always important, but you need more than that these days. There has to be a meeting of minds. You don’t have to agree on every point but you should at least be on the same page. More relationships fail because of philosophical incompatibility than for any other reason. The other reasons are just the ‘excuses’ that mask the philosophical problems.

For those in or working on the second marriage this is also a good social year. If you are single, marriage could happen. If you are already married, there is more romance in the marriage.

Those in or working on the third marriage will have an expansive social life, but the love life is quiet. Those who are married will tend to stay married, and singles will tend to stay single.

You tend to be a love-at-first-sight kind of person by nature, and this year even more so. You go after what you want. You don’t play games. If you like someone they know about it.

Those already in a relationship can enhance their relationship by taking courses – in subjects that interest you – as a couple. A foreign trip will also enhance an existing relationship. Worshipping together as a couple will also do much to deepen your relationship.
